The dampness of the ground woke him up. The smell of bacon being cooked mix with the rotten rot of earth nauseated him. Slowly he opens his eyes and what he saw roused in him fear beyond madness. I will die in this rotting hole and no one will be able to tell her the truth…
Oh, you have woken up, did you sleep well? The devil smiled while asking him politely whether he would like an egg to go with his bacon.
The face that peered down looking at him is leering with madness.
Hmmm?? I can’t hear you very well, this is your last meal, are you sure you don’t want to eat em? Oh, you mean, I can have it all? Well, thank you very much!! Killing is truly exhausting; especially when they scream…that’s the reason I gag you up.
While munching, he jumped down into the hole while holding the plate full with beacon and egg.
Hmmm?? You want me to take it off? Can you promise not to scream, please? It’s truly annoying to hear a grown man screaming, it’s a melody if it came from the lovely ladies you shared your room with. Here you go, don’t scream, ok, or I’ll cut your tongue off and give you a smile from ear to ear and get it over and done with.
With one painful rip, the devil tore’s the tape that binds his mouth; gagging and coughing, he spits at the devil face

There’s a flash of anger on his face then turn to amusement, as the face broke into a wide smile and laugh

With all his strength he dug his fingers into his chest, commanding his heart to stop. He felt the life draining from his body, going into his brother who is still holding his hand.

The last memories shocked him, the pain, coursed through his body circulated in his memory bank, rearranging data, filling in the voids and correcting the information, I am wrong, Anubis don’t take him, I am wrong, please stop, brother…he didn’t realized the tears and his voice screaming, asking his brother to stop
With his strength, he is trying hard to pull Will’s fingers from his chest but to no avail. Light blinded him and he fell down, unconscious trying to reach his already gone brother.

Chapter 1 - Maya
Chapter 1 - Maya
It is midnight. It is always the same moon; the white round of ethereal light, shines through the open window caressed by the soft dance of the white curtain. The light breeze brought in the coldness of night and the voice that carries the sad melody sounded as otherworldly as the persona herself
Di bawahnya sinar bulan terang purnama
Air mataku menitis bagaikan embun
Melihat dikau melangkah tinggalkan semua
Ke alam yang baru begitulah jalanan hidupmu
Why do you always sing that song?
Whispered a childishly sweet voice to the reflection in the mirror
Untuk mengingatkan diriku tentang kisah lalu
Replied by a voice, so soft like a zephyr whispered to the girl sitting by the window
Don’t ever leave me, tell me what to do, to ease your pain
The same sweet smile didn’t reassure the doubts. It’s painful not to know the reasons behind despair.
Don’t protect me. Ignorance is not what I seek even though I know how blissful it is not to know. Neither I am too naïve nor weak not to do justice for you! Why came to me when you don’t trust me?

In the dream, raindrops like tears fall onto the body. Lies on a red stone; altar bed of sacrifice. The dead tree looms over like a death-god with a scythe. As she got up, the waves of the sea broke at her feet, sending shivers piercing her heart with coldness. Coldness and darkness wrap her like an invisible robe on her naked body. When the red moon sinks into the ocean, the song came;

When she opens her eyes, the song is still echoing inside her. The sunlight that woke her from the dream always confusing since it is always forever night in her mind. The room seems unreal; the body is not hers. Finally, it dawns to her to remember the Judas of Lust. To taste the sweet nectar of sinful betrayal left her with nothingness. Nothing happened? She only prayed that the blissful ignorance can last. Nothing is everything. That is the life she is living because ignorance is not only bliss, it is the way to continue living. In her head, there’re voices, murmuring choices. Eyes, blanking stare, a lifeless light shone through from the reflection of the mirror as she gets up. A crying smile, an empty heart, a walking doll, shone in the reflection. No ashes, no dust, only cold revenge; given life by death. Until all is over the eternal sleep shall not come.
