There’s a girl in a tower
The tower is high up in the sky
Where the stars and the moon are
Where the clouds are like foam of sugar
Coloured by the sun, hanging in the sky
The stars are desires and moon is the hope, shown only when the sky turns black
The girl is alone in that tall tower
Looking down upon all
She can see everything, but do nothing
Why? Apparently, she’s afraid of height
Poor little girl, in her tower alone for all time
But, she is not sad nor in despair
The wind sings to her
And the moon smiles
Giving her light when all is dark
Therefore, she can read, write and dream
The stars tell her stories
To make her go to sleep
The clouds go to her when there is light
With many flavors and colours from the sun
The clouds are sweet and the wind will sing
At times, the birds will come to her and tell her wonders of the world below
I wish I will stop being afraid
And come down from the window
I want to come down and swim in the ocean
The blue ocean as blue as the sky
The forest and the scary sweet tale of all being
I want to know!
I want to know more!!
Oh, but I am still afraid
The girl cried for the first time
And rain drops onto the world below
There were thunder now, lighting up the dark sky
The clouds are the colour of despair
The wind howls and screams
Reaching the world below
Pleading to be heard
There is no moon
No longer stars
Only rain that storms the girl heart
Purgatory of life…
Why must it be?
Must I be sinned by the fear that I felt?
It is the peace of mind that I seek and what I missed
The wind continues to scream
The rain continues to pour
The heart continues to bleed
The world is in infinite darkness
Hail, suffering!
And, welcome sleep…
In her sleep, she sees,
She hears and touches dream
As real as you and me
She continues to sleep
Living in a dream
Never to wake up, until the time is right
Time stop for the girl,
It is forever night
She continues living in her dream
Sleeping, waiting and wishing
The world below watching over her
Watching and waiting for the girl to wake up
Patiently, with love…
So, what do you think?
Shall we go and wake her up?
